Adjusting prices by date

How to set higher or lower prices for specific dates in the Pickup calendar, set in advance, and why date pricing is never surge pricing.

Your usual price applies every day by default. You can change the price for specific dates from your calendar, for example over a festive period or a date when your costs are higher.

This is your own advance pricing. Pickup never adjusts your prices, and there is no surge pricing. Guests always see the price for their dates before they pay.

Change the price for one or more dates

  1. Open the Calendar tab and choose the listing.
  2. Press and hold a day, then drag across the days you want to change.
  3. Stay on Open and type the price you want to earn. The sheet shows what guests see.
  4. Add a private note if you want one. Only you see it.
  5. Tap Save.

The calendar shows the price on each date so you can check your work. A confirmation appears once your prices are updated.

Good practice

  • Set date prices well in advance. Guests plan around what they see.
  • Keep changes reasonable. Sharp jumps close to a date can lead to complaints.
  • Date prices never change a booking already confirmed.

Dates you cannot serve

If you cannot take bookings on a date, block it rather than raising the price. See Setting your availability and Blocking dates for maintenance.
