How to book a chauffeur to the airport

A calm journey to the airport starts with the right pickup time.

Pick a sensible pickup time

1. Check your airline's check in and bag drop deadlines.
2. Allow for traffic. Journey times in Lagos can vary widely by time of day.
3. Add time for loading bags and any stops.
4. Book your pickup for that time, not your departure time.

If you are not sure, message your operator. They know local routes.

How to book

1. In Search, choose the car icon.
2. Under What kind of trip?, tap Airport transfer, then Airport drop off.
3. Add your terminal, your flight, your pickup address and the pickup time.
4. Add the people and bags, tap Search and book.

Before the day

• Mention bags, a wheelchair or anything needing extra space.
• Make sure your phone number is correct in Personal details. Your chauffeur can see it from 1 hour before your trip starts.

On the day

• Be ready at the pickup time. See Being ready on time for your pickup.
• Follow Your trip, step by step to see when your chauffeur is on the way and has arrived.
• Check your chauffeur and car match your trip details before you get in.
• Tap Share trip so someone can follow your journey.

Running late

If you are late, your chauffeur waits for the free waiting time set out on the listing. Message your chauffeur as soon as you know. After that, waiting counts toward your hours or is charged only if you agree it in the app.

Need to make changes?

If your flight changes, open the trip in Trips and tap Change reservation, subject to your cancellation option.
