You can block an operator on Pickup. Blocking stops them contacting you in the app and hides their listings. It is private: we do not tell them.
If you feel unsafe, also report them so our trust and safety team can act. See How to report a message, review or user.
Block someone
- Open a listing from the operator, and tap the operator's name under Meet your operator.
- Tap Block and the operator's name.
- Confirm.
To report as well, go to Messages, open the conversation, tap the information icon to open Details, then tap Report or block.
What blocking does
- They can no longer send you messages.
- A blocked operator's listings no longer appear in your search results.
- The earlier conversation stays with the booking record so it can be used as evidence if needed.
To stop a chauffeur being assigned to you, open your trip pack and tap Report or block and the chauffeur's name. Tell us you do not want them assigned to you again. They are not told.
Blocking and bookings
Blocking does not cancel a booking. If you have an upcoming trip with the operator you want to block, contact Pickup support first so we can help you. Any cancellation follows the Cancellation and Refund Policy. If you are cancelling because of a safety or conduct concern, say so, and we will review it with your report.
During a trip, Pickup support can pass urgent messages between you and your operator if you have blocked them.
Unblock someone
- Go to Profile.
- Tap Blocked accounts.
- Tap Unblock next to the name.
