The role

As Trust & Safety Officer, you will review the documents behind every operator, vehicle, vessel and aircraft on Pickup, and handle safety reports when they come in.

What you’ll do

• Review operator, vehicle, vessel and aircraft documents against Pickup’s verification standards.
• Keep verification records current and flag documents nearing expiry.
• Handle safety reports from guests and operators, and see them through to resolution.
• Work with Operations on suspending or restoring listings over document issues.
• Help maintain the checks each vertical requires: cars, boats and jets.
• Keep clear records to support disputes and claims when they arise.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in trust and safety, compliance, risk or document verification.
• Comfortable making judgement calls on incomplete information.
• High attention to detail: a missed expiry date is a real risk.
• Calm, clear communication when handling a safety report.
• Based in or able to work from Lagos.
• Interest in transport, travel or marketplace trust systems.
