Being ready on time for your pickup

How to be ready for your chauffeur, boat or flight, what waiting time on a listing means, and what counts as a no show.

Your booking reserves a vehicle, vessel or aircraft and its crew for a set time. Being ready when they arrive keeps your trip on schedule and avoids extra cost.

Before the day

  1. Open Trips and check the pickup location, date and time on your trip.
  2. Make sure the pickup point is precise. Add a landmark, gate or building name in Messages if the address is hard to find.
  3. Confirm your guest count and luggage match what you booked.
  4. Turn on notifications so you see updates from your operator.

On the day

  • Follow Your trip, step by step on your trip. It shows when a chauffeur is assigned, on the way and arrived.
  • Check the chauffeur's name and photo in the app before you get in.
  • Be at the pickup point at the booked time, with ID if your trip needs it.
  • For boats, arrive at the jetty 15 minutes early to board and receive the safety briefing. Boat trips run in daylight only, so a late start can shorten your time on the water.
  • For charter flights, arrive by the time in your trip pack. Aircraft slots are fixed.

If you are running late

Message your chauffeur or operator straight away in Messages. Cars have 15 minutes of free waiting at pickup unless the listing says otherwise. After that, waiting counts toward your hours. If you need more time overall, see How to extend a booking.

If you do not arrive at all, the booking may be treated as a no show under the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
