Commission and fees

How pricing works for operators: you set what you earn, the app sets the all in guest price, and the commission is on your Fee Schedule and monthly statement.

You decide what you earn. There are no listing fees and no sign up fees.

You set your payout

For each listing you enter what you want to earn. The app works out the all in price guests see, and the listing editor shows both side by side: You earn ₦X · Guests see ₦Y.

Every booking then shows your payout and when it is released. There is no commission line on trip screens. See How payouts work.

Commission

A commission applies to completed bookings, and to any cancellation amount you keep.

  • Where the rate lives. Your rate for each vertical is in your Fee Schedule. Open Menu, then Earnings, then Earnings settings. Your Operator Agreement incorporates it.
  • It includes VAT. Nothing is added on top, and nothing more is deducted at settlement.
  • Where the amount shows. Your monthly statement shows your gross booking value, the commission, the VAT inside the commission, and Pickup's TIN.
  • If it changes. Pickup gives you at least 30 days' notice before a rate changes. A change never applies to a booking already confirmed.

Guest service fee

Guests pay a Pickup service fee, with VAT on it, inside the all in price on your listing. It does not come out of your payout.

Extras and custom offers

Extras and custom quotes follow the same rule: you set what you earn for each, and the guest price is worked out for you. The detail is in the Payments Terms.

What Pickup never charges

  • No surge pricing.
  • No listing fee.
  • No hidden fees added after checkout. Guests see one complete price.

Cancellations and refunds

If a booking is cancelled or refunded, what you receive depends on the cancellation option and who cancelled. See When a guest cancels and the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

Corporate and negotiated rates

Rates agreed for corporate accounts are handled separately and confirmed in writing. Contact operator support for details.

Need more help?

Open Menu, then Help, then Still need help?. An automated assistant answers first, and Talk to a person brings in the team. Or email support@pickupcharter.com with the booking ID. Emergency? Call 112. See Contacting operator support.
