Children are welcome on Pickup trips when a responsible adult travels with them for the whole trip.
The rules
- A person under 18 can travel only on a booking made by an adult, with a responsible adult traveller aboard for the whole trip.
- Unaccompanied children are never carried.
- Every child counts toward the passenger limit, and infants count toward the limit on boats and jets.
These rules are in the Guest Terms.
Child seats in cars
Under 12s need a child seat. Where the listing offers one, choose it under Extras at checkout and give the child's age. Any charge is shown before you pay. If the listing does not offer one, ask the operator by message before you book.
On boats and yachts
Add every child and infant under Guests on board, so a correctly sized life jacket is aboard. Every traveller, including children, wears a life jacket at all times while aboard. Boat trips run in daylight only. See Boat and yacht safety rules.
On private flights
Add each child to the manifest with their name and date of birth, and bring the identity documents the operator asks for. Infants under 2 travel on a lap and still count toward the limit. The pilot in command and the operator's crew set the rules for seating infants and children. See Rules for private jet passengers.
Good to know
- Bring anything the child needs for the journey, such as snacks and water, and check the operator's rules on food in the vehicle.
- You are responsible for the children in your group and for any damage or cleaning they cause, as set out in the Guest Terms.
