Private jet charter on Pickup is provided by licensed air operators. You choose the route, date and passengers. The operator flies the aircraft and has final authority over the flight.

Find an aircraft

  1. Tap Search and select the jet icon.
  2. Under What kind of flight?, choose Empty legs, One way, Return or Multi stop.
  3. Enter your departure and arrival airports.
  4. Set your date and departure time. International flights need at least 72 hours' notice.
  5. Add who is flying and their bags, then tap Search.

Compare and book

Listings show the aircraft, cabin photos, seating, features, the operator's profile and the cancellation option. Tap Check availability, add your flight, then tap Reserve. Charter flights always need the operator to confirm the aircraft and crew. They have 12 hours to accept, or until 2 hours before departure if that is sooner. Empty legs confirm instantly.

At checkout:

  1. Check your flight details and tap Change on anything that needs changing.
  2. Check the total in Price details. It includes Pickup's service fee, VAT and the NCAA's statutory sales charge.
  3. Start your Passenger manifest and confirm Before you fly.
  4. Choose how to pay. Booked 5 or more days ahead, you pay a 20% deposit by card and the balance by bank transfer within 48 hours, and you tick a required box about the deposit. Booked less than 5 days ahead, your card is charged in full at checkout, or above the card limit you pay by instant bank transfer. See Paying for a private jet charter.

After you pay

  1. Complete your ID check as the booker.
  2. Add every passenger to the passenger manifest, with their name as it appears on their ID and their passport or ID details, or tap Share to add your details to send each one a link. The cutoff is 24 hours before departure for international flights and 6 hours for domestic. See The passenger manifest for private flights.
  3. The operator approves the manifest. Your trip starts at wheels up.

Before you fly

  • Every passenger needs valid photo ID. International flights need a passport and any required visas.
  • Baggage limits depend on the aircraft. Tell the operator about large or unusual items before the day.
  • Arrive at the terminal at the time in your trip pack. Your handler meets you there.

Checks behind every listing

Air operators hold an NCAA Air Operator Certificate. The aircraft must be listed on the operator's operations specifications, with cover that meets the Montreal Convention and licensed crew. Aircraft only permitted for private, non commercial flight are never listed. The operator that holds the certificate is the carrier for your flight and is named on the listing. Pickup acts as the agent of the certificate holder, and takes your booking and payment on its behalf. The holder accounts for NCAA charges, and any statutory charge on the charter price is included in the price you see before you pay.

Need to make changes?

Open the trip in Trips and tap Change reservation to ask for another time or date, or message your operator as early as possible. Cancellations follow the listing's cancellation option and the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
