How do I close my operator account?

How to stop operating on Pickup: what must be finished first, what happens to your listings and team, and which records Pickup keeps after you leave.

You can close your operator account in the app once every booking is finished and every payout is settled. Your guest account stays open.

Before you close

  • Accepted bookings. Deliver them, or cancel only for a recognised reason under the Cancellation and Refund Policy. A cancellation without one still counts against you.
  • Open disputes and damage claims. These continue until they are decided, and an open case holds that booking's payout.
  • Amounts you owe. Refunds, chargebacks or other amounts owed under the Payments Terms must be settled first.

How to close

  1. Open Menu, then Business details.
  2. Tap Close operator account.
  3. If anything is still open, the app shows Finish these first, with your upcoming bookings and payouts to settle.
  4. Otherwise, confirm. It closes straight away.

After closure

  • Your listings come off Pickup.
  • Your team and crew lose access.
  • You can still get your statements from your guest account, and you can apply again later.
  • Pickup keeps financial, booking, tax and anti-money-laundering records for 5 years, as the Privacy Policy sets out.
  • Closing Operator Mode does not close your guest account. To delete your whole Pickup account, close the operator account first, then go to Profile, then Security, then Delete my account. See Delete your account.

The full rules are in the Operator Agreement.

Need more help?

In the app, open Profile > Help. Our AI assistant answers first. Tap Talk to a person to reach the team, or email support@pickupcharter.com with your booking reference. In an emergency, call 112 first.
