Getting paid through Pickup

How Pickup operators are paid: you set what you earn, Pickup collects as your agent through Flutterwave, and pays you by transfer after the trip, weekly for long bookings.

Guests pay in the app by card or bank transfer. You never handle cash for a Pickup booking.

How the money moves

  1. You enter what you want to earn for each listing. The app works out the all in price guests see: You earn ₦X · Guests see ₦Y.
  2. The guest pays that total. Payments are processed by Flutterwave, a licensed payment provider, and Pickup collects as your limited payment collection agent. The money stays in Pickup's balance with Flutterwave until it is paid to you by transfer or refunded.
  3. The trip starts on its own at the booked time (for a private jet, at wheels up).
  4. Your payout goes to your company bank account 1 hour after the trip ends (for a jet, 1 hour after landing). Nothing is paid for a flight that never left. You get a push and an email when it is sent.

Bookings of 7 days or more pay weekly. A flagged booking waits up to 72 hours. An open case holds the whole payout for that booking until it is decided. If a refund is decided against you after you were paid, it comes off your next payouts, or you can pay it back by transfer first, and you are told by push and email. See How payouts work.

Commission

A commission applies to completed bookings. It already includes VAT, and nothing is added on top. The rate is in your Fee Schedule, and your monthly statement shows the amounts. There is no listing fee. See Commission and fees.

Set up your payout account

You add it in Get paid and go live when you sign up. To change it later:

  1. Open Menu, then Earnings, then Earnings settings.
  2. Tap Payout account, then Change payout account.
  3. Choose your bank and enter your account number.
  4. Tap Check account. The name must match your registered business name.

Track your earnings

Earnings shows what was paid out this month, Upcoming payouts, This year and your Payouts, with any Held payment or balance on top.

New operators

There is no separate schedule for new operators. You are paid the same way from your first trip. See Payouts for new operators.

Full terms

Payout timing, holds and adjustments are set out in the Payments Terms. Read more in How payouts work.
