Your business profile tells Pickup and your guests who you are. It also gives our Trust and Safety team what they need to verify you. Menu shows Finish setting up and how many steps are done until you submit.
Company details
Only companies registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission can list on Pickup. Individuals are not onboarded.
- Enter your Business registration number. We check it with CAC.
- On Is this your company?, check the name, address and status CAC returns.
- Choose a director or signatory and enter their Bank Verification Number. We match it to your CAC record. It is never shown to guests.
- Add your logo and Trading name. You need both to continue. The name can't be another brand's.
Your signatory
Choose who verifies for your company: A director or company secretary, or Authorised staff, such as a PA. They become your Responsible Person, our main contact for safety and compliance.
They enter their NIN and BVN, then take a selfie. Our identity partner checks it. If the selfie doesn't match, they can send two photos instead: their ID, and themselves holding it. Trained staff look at those, with no face matching software. See the Operator verification guide.
Operator documents
Add the licences for what you run, with number and expiry date. Skip what you don't run:
- Cars: commercial vehicle licence, and your Lagos transport operator registration if you have it.
- Boats: LASWA operating permit, and your NIWA or NIMASA licence.
- Jets: NCAA Air Operator's Certificate and operations specifications.
- Security escorts: your agreement with an NSCDC licensed guard company, only if you offer escorts as an extra.
Then add your company documents: TIN certificate and number, CAC status report date, and proof of your operating address from the last 3 months.
Payout details
- Choose your Bank name.
- Enter your Company account number.
- Check the account name that appears. It must match your registered business name.
Payouts go only to your company's account. See Setting up your payout account.
Review and submit
Read the Operator Master Agreement, type your full name to sign it and tap Sign and continue. Under Review and submit, tick the box and submit.
You will see We're checking your company. Most checks finish within a few business days, and you can keep building listings meanwhile. If something is missing, you will see We need one more thing. If we can't approve you, you have 14 days to ask for a review.
Make it count
Your trading name, logo and about text appear to guests. Keep them clear and professional. To change them later, open Menu, then Business details.
The full rules are in Verification and Compliance and the Payments Terms.
